"We all love those quiet days spent in the garden. The air is cool in the shade, warm in the sun. Time slows and things seem easier. We can linger to enjoy the sweet scents on the breeze and hear the Pavarottis of birdsong fill the air. 

There is a history of painters doing some of their best work in the garden. Monet and Bonnard, Manet and Matisse spent much of their lives there.

In this new suite of paintings, I seek to capture the play of light and radiant shadows.

These paintings provide me with a calm renewal. Perhaps tomorrow you will spend some time in the garden and rediscover your passion."
